A Serious Game about the heating sector and its transformation in a fictional town has been developed. Players take over one of the roles (district heating company, district manager, government) and follow their goals to win. The game was successfully played several times with HAWK and international students in August 2022. HAWK can offer free game workshops to universities, research institutions and companies, as well as to any other interested organisations
Position Paper on Key Texts of the European Commission's Fit for 55 Package
The European Commission’s proposals will have a big impact on DHC, and the wider H&C sector. REWARDHeat is well placed to provide important knowledge and can give input to the ongoing policy discussion and the revision of the chosen directives.
A heating sector model was designed and applied for each demonstrator in the RewardHeat project. The TIMES model generator was used to build and model nine scenarios.

Demonstration Networks and partners
The REWARDHeat project is coordinated by EURAC Research, based in Italy, and involves a total of 28 partners from 10 European countries.
Partners include industrial organisations, utilities, SMEs, research organisations, universities, and international associations.
