Sustainable Places 2020

The session was opened by Daniel Maraver de Lemus, from the European Commission who emphasized the importance of decarbonizing heating and cooling if we are to mitigate the effects of climate change. 9 projects, funded under the Horizon 2020 programme participated in the workshop. The discussion covered a variety of topics including the main barriers to the decarbonization of DHC and the role of key actors in the H&C sector in driving renewables integration.

EHP presented the innovative low-temperature solutions being deployed in the REWARDHeat project, illustrated by examples from the Topusko, Helsingborg & Mölndal and La-Seyne-Sur-Mer demonstrators.
